Tai John, LPC-A
Tai, known for her empathetic nature, exceptional listening skills, and thoughtful advice, found her calling in counseling. These traits, recognized by strangers, friends, and family alike, led her to pursue her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Ashford University, where she graduated in 2019. Since then, Tai has passionately dedicated herself to helping others through therapy, a field she finds both fulfilling and transformative.

Tai specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, utilizing a range of therapeutic approaches including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her mission is to empower and equip her clients to overcome life’s challenges while fostering personal growth and self-awareness. Tai believes in her life motto, which encourages living, learning, and growing through every experience. This philosophy is integrated into her therapeutic work, guiding clients toward meaningful change.

Currently practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Tai is on track to achieve full licensure in the state of Texas. Her long-term goal includes pursuing a Ph.D. to further expand her knowledge and expertise in the field of counseling.

Outside of her professional life, Tai enjoys a variety of activities, including blogging, traveling, dancing, roller skating, cooking, baking, reading, and watching movies. She also finds joy in hiking, spontaneous adventures, and spending quality time with family and friends.
