Jamie Banks, LMSW

Jamie is a Texas Licensed Master Social Worker. Born and raised in Louisiana, she has proudly called Houston home for over a decade. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Texas Southern University in 2019 and went on to receive her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2020, with a concentration in Latinos, children, and families.

Jamie has experience working in both medical and mental health settings and is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults.

Jamie specializes in working with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, compassion fatigue, self-esteem and confidence concerns, behavioral challenges in adolescents and teens, work-related stress, and difficulties adjusting to new environments. She also supports clients in building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and navigating day-to-day challenges with greater confidence and stability.

Jamie is deeply committed to helping clients move toward meaningful goals and recognizing strengths they may not yet see in themselves. Her priority is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and being heard.

She values the therapeutic relationship and meets clients where they are, walking alongside them as they work toward growth, healing, and change.
